Who are these cakes for?
Our mouth-watering wholesale cakes and wholesale brownies are perfect for restaurants, cafés, coffee shops and even deli counters that are looking to add some delicious treats to their food offerings.

What's the shelf life of your cakes and bakes?
Our delicious wholesale cakes and tray bakes have a 10-day shelf life when wrapped. Once opened, the shelf life of our products ranges from 2-4 days. Please refer to each product page for this information. We recommend freezing our wholesale brownies and cakes on arrival, which gives them a 12-month shelf life. Once defrosted, our sponge style cakes have 2-3 days shelf life and our tray bakes have 4.
What allergens are in your products?
For all our allergen information, please refer to our full wholesale cake allergens list. Our products are not suitable for people with nut allergies due to cross-contamination. However, our bakery is 100% peanut-free.
Do you sell gluten-free and vegan cakes?
Making sure everyone can enjoy our delicious wholesale cakes and bakes is important to us. We work just as hard on baking our wholesale gluten-free and vegan cakes and goodies as we do on coming up with new recipes for our other cakes.

When will my order be delivered?
If you order before midday, your cakes will be delivered the very next day via DPD! We will send all the tracking details to you via messaging or email address. Any issues, get in contact with us at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist.
What sort of packaging will my cakes arrive in?
We send your cakes in Woolcool packaging that’s been designed specifically for direct deliveries of delicious chilled foods. We’ve also rigorously tested it to prove it’s able to keep produce within the temperature ranges required by the Food Standards Agency.
Do you use different packaging for vegan products?
Yes, we do. For our yummy vegan bakes, we use 100% plant fibre liners made out of hemp that’s completely reusable, recyclable and biodegradable for times when wool isn’t an option.
Is your packaging fully recyclable?
At Cakehead, keeping our environmental impact to a minimum is our top priority. That’s why all the cardboard we use in our packaging is 100% recyclable. The inks we use for our (sometimes) witty messages are also all vegetable-based.

Where are your delicious cakes and traybakes made?
Our boxes are made in our bakery which is based in Oakham, Rutland. We use fresh, free-range eggs and we even squeeze fresh lemons by hand.
Can I freeze your product once it has arrived?
You can freeze our product to preserve freshness, but this should be done as soon as your box arrives on the day of delivery. All of our products are pre-sliced so you don’t have to worry about portioning.
Where do you deliver?
Our wholesale bakery delivers all over the UK, but we do not currently deliver overseas.

Can I collect?
We don’t do collections here at Cakehead, sorry! We are primarily an online shop, and we do not have the facilities or space for collections currently. But we do offer free next-day delivery for orders over £150 if you order before midday.
Can I mix 'n' match?
Yes, you can, mix ‘n’ match any cakes you like. There is a minimum order value of £75 and it’s £150 for free delivery. Our range gives you a variety of wholesale cakes to create displays that your customers will find impossible to resist.

Can I try a sample box first?
Choosing just a few of our brilliant bakes to order can be tough. Our sample box is packed with small taster sizes of some of our favourite tray bakes, loaf cakes, round cakes, and tray cakes so you can choose which wholesale cakes and bakes you think your customers will like the most. Warning: The answer might just be ‘all of them’.
Why do you freeze and portion your cakes?
We freeze our wholesale cakes to lock the freshness and taste in, and we conveniently pre-slice them all so you only put out the number of slices you need rather than risking waste.
Can I choose a delivery date?
Yes, you can choose the date that best suits you at checkout. A calendar will appear, and from this, you can select the most suitable date.
