Our Lemon Bakewell traycake has an all butter base with almond and butter frangipane with pools of lemon curd, delivering a deliciously moist treat. It is then finished with toasted almonds and gentle dusting of sweet snow. It’s important to have a variety of colours and shapes on display to entice your customers to buy

Each Lemon Bakewell traybake is pre-portioned into 15 slices, which means less hassle for you when preparing the cake for your counter, and a 100% guarantee that your customers will receive the same size slice each time they visit. Food waste becomes a thing of the past thanks to being able to freeze our cakes on arrival. We understand you have little time and the foodservice industry is particularly busy, so we have baked a range of cakes you can trust and that offer versatility to your cake counter.

Our Lemon Bakewell has up to a 12-month shelf life in your freezer and 10 days wrapped / 3-4 days unwrapped once defrosted.

We recommend serving a slice of our Lemon Bakewell alongside a cup of classic tea or to push the boat out, pair with a frothy cappuccino and have the Bakewell warm with clotted cream.

  • Please ensure your cakes are placed into the freezer as soon as possible once delivered
  • Store cakes in a freezer observing the Frozen Best Before Date
  • Defrost overnight in the fridge
  • Once defrosted, remove outer packaging and film
  • Cakes can be displayed at room temperature. At the end of the day cover and ideally refrigerate overnight
  • Shelf life guidance: 10 days wrapped on arrival and once defrosted 2-3 days
