There’s at least one national ‘day of celebration’ for every day of the year here in the UK. In fact, there’s currently a shade under 1,500 recognised national days, weeks and months, so it’s no surprise that many of these pass us by here at Cakehead. Not National Nut Day, though! In recognition of this all-important occasion, we’re shining the light on some of our favourite nutty next-day brownie delivery recipes.

But first, a little about National Nut Day. It’s observed on 22 October, and has been since 2016. A celebration of nuts and all the delicious recipes that contain them, social media users are encouraged to post using the hashtag #NationalNutDay, sharing their favourite recipes and extolling the virtues of almonds, pistachios and hazelnuts to name a few.

So, what do we bring to the table here at Cakehead in terms of nutty recipes? Here are a few of our favourites.
